For those who visit to enjoy our U-Pick season:
  • Plan your time for picking all the berries you would like and to accommodate their packing for transport by the 5pm closing time.
  • We provide buckets for picking, but you should bring suitable containers for transporting your fruit home
  • After picking, your fruit will be weighed and equipment provided for fruit washing if you wish
  • Free seed removal for Tart Cherries is provided using our automated pitting machine
  • Come prepared for sunny weather (hat, sunscreen, water) or sudden lake effect rain showers (rain gear)

  • This is a working orchard so bees are present. Take precautions for those with bee sting allergies
  • This is a working farm and occasional poison ivy, thistle, and other weeds may be present. Please take precautions if allergic..
  • Early morning pickers will wade through dewy grass so wear appropriate footwear
  • Because of strict food safety guidelines, no animals allowed in fields. Thank you.
  • Because our trees are dwarf varieties no ladders are necessary or provided
  • Visit "Lehman's Farmhouse" family friendly brewery at 204 North Redbud Trail Buchanan, Michigan (see map below) for a delicious meal before heading home. Just a six minute drive, the Taproom offers appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads and desserts. You may also try our in-house craft made beers, hard ciders, brandy's, whiskey, gin and apple cider for the kids.
